Join us after the 10 am Sunday worship service for the chance to connect with old and new friends. CHURCH SERVICES, EVENTS, ACTIVITIES This Sunday both Annunciation and Mt. Olivet will meet again at 10 am on YouTube Live for readings, prayers, and music, with lay readers and music ministers, Jessica Holl and Steven Kennedy participating live from home. We'll also be joined by guest musicians Ainsley Matich and Jimmy Williams (Double Bass and Piano/Vocal). For a copy of this Sunday bulletin, go here. After the service, fill your mug and jump over to Zoom for Half-Caff, our moderated coffee (1/2) hour. In order to make sure everyone has time to visit, we have created breakout rooms organized by parish. Join the Zoom meeting after the service in the usual way, and the moderator will announce when we split into breakout rooms -- there is nothing new for you to learn to do. READERS NEEDED We need people to pre-record readings for our Sunday worship service! If you have a smartphone or computer with video recording ability, you have all the equipment you need. Please let Fr. Duane know at Duane@AnnunciationEpiscopal.com Would you like to join Annunciation or Mount Olivet? Would you like to consider joining Annunciation or Mount Olivet? Fr. Duane will begin an inquirers class on the first Sunday of June, 06/07 at 6 pm on Zoom. First Sunday Seekers will meet once a month for four months - a total of four classes. Classes will last 90 minutes. This exploratory class is open to anyone, whether you seek baptism, renewal of your faith, or simply to transfer your membership from another church. Contact Fr. PARISH NEWS Broadmoor Virtual Block Party On Friday, May 15, from 7–9 pm, the Broadmoor Improvement Association (BIA) will present a virtual block party. This virtual fundraising event to support the BIA's emergency response efforts will feature special community guests, a cocktail demonstration from Turning Tables, cooking demonstration from a local chef, a community art project, entertainment from local musicians, and much more! Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased through facebook.com/broadmoornola/ Youth News Happening #84 has been postponed and will be rescheduled for September 25-27, 2020. Resources for Parishioners Broadmoor Improvement Association exists to help every resident in Broadmoor thrive, and is open to all members of Annunciation, even if you reside outside the neighborhood. Open the YouTube app or channel and use the search window to locate Church of the Annunciation Episcopal and subscribe to our YouTube Live channel. You can also watch on your computer or smartphone through our website. Please note that our online services are live and subject to unforeseen technological glitches. Should our broadcast freeze, lose audio, video, or otherwise be interrupted, be patient. If we haven’t sorted it out in a minute or two, you can try refreshing the page. If it’s been several minutes or you see a notice that the video has been removed (due to overaggressive artificial intelligence monitors), go back to our main YouTube landing page and check to see if we’ve started over with a new feed. The simplest way to connect is to use this link to join any scheduled Zoom meeting hosted by Annunciation’s Zoom account. (The password will be entered for you automatically, just respond yes if prompted to download or open zoom app). Zoom works best when we can all see each other, but if you do not have access to a computer or smartphone with a video camera, you can still join in by telephone.
