![]() Since our founding over 175 years ago as the third oldest Episcopal Church in New Orleans, Annunciation's focus is community and connection to God and one another. We are a vibrant and diverse congregation located in the Broadmoor neighborhood in New Orleans.
Annunciation does not try to be a perfect place. We try to be a faithful and loving community that is led by God to help one another become the people God has called each of us to be. Sundays at 10:30 am

What's a "Free" Church?
In 1857, Annunciation was the first church in New Orleans to eliminate pew rents, which was the standard way to raise money for the operations of churches. The congregation voted to eliminate pew rents in order to open the church to all races and backgrounds. We continue to live into this tradition as a community open to all without regard to age, ethnicity, race, skin color, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.
