On May 10, 2017, volunteers from Annunciation went to Second Harvesters to work in the Community Kitchen that provides meals to those in needs. A great day was had by all! #lunchladies
CRAWFISH BOIL on Holy Saturday: Church of the Annunciation will hold a crawfish boil on the lawn of the church for members, family and friends on Saturday, April 15, from 3-5 p.m. Invite a friend! Suggested donation is $12 at the door for crawfish and softdrinks. Beer will be sold for $3 a can. Bring your picnic blankets or lawn chair and pass a good time. At 5 p.m., Father Duane will light the new fire to mark the beginning of Easter.
Questions? RSVP with Annette Sisco, (504) 432-9257. On Tuesday, March 28, we gathered in the evening and celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation and our 173rd Anniversary. After the service, we gathered in the parish hall for a steak and potato dinner. It was wonderful and delicious time. Pictures of the dinner are below along with a recording of the service. |
